Opening to a thunderous start with a bouquet of around 100 films from across the world the ICFFK was hugely attended by the children from the state to houseful theatres.

Swati Pandey CEO, CFSI attending the inaugural held at the Tagore auditorium in Trivandrum reiterated the role and support of CFSI in the production of children content and being partners to Children film festivals in the country. The Chief Minister of Kerala, P. Vijayan lauded the role and support of CFSI in the success of the ICFFK.

CFSI provided a bouquet of 16 well known films for screening in the 1st International Children’s Film Festival of Kerala in which Malayalam films viz. Abhayam (Main Phir Aaunga), Keshu, Gharaksharangal alongwith CFSI latest production film ‘Ishu’ which has been awarded in the prestigious 65th National Film Award.

CEO inspired the children by talking about the ‘Little Directors’ scheme and how talent of these budding directors were honed by mentors and these movies were showcased in the International Children Film Festival held biennially.

CFSI congratulates ICFFK and extends all its support to it in all its future editions, in order to popularise this niche sector in the entertainment sector.
