Synopsis:

Jaggudada, a roadside gangster, along with his side kick Raju, use a group of street kids for their shady, illegal operations. His main competitor is Aunty and her helper Bundledas who true to name has a knack of bungling up her schemes. Overhearing Aunty’s plans to kidnap Mani, the only daughter of a multimillionaire and demand a large ransom, Jaggudada decides to outsmart her. After Mani is kidnapped her parents rely on Constable Sakharam to trace her. Sakharam in turn depends on his self-styled police dog. Aunty with Bundledas, Jaggudada and his gang of street kids and Sakharam with his dog pursue each other in a series of wild chase through Mumbai city in this hilarious and fun children’s film starring Nasseruddin Shah and Amrish Puri.

 

Director’s Biography: Siraj Ayesha Sayani
As the daughter of broadcaster Hamid Sayani, Siraj Ayesha Sayani grew up in a world of multimedia. She began her career working on radio programs and advertising films, winning awards in both. She has worked as assistant director on documentaries for Film Division as well as for established advertising and marketing companies, and BBC. She has worked on many documentaries and plays for BBC. Reccently she doubled up as Associate Director and Line Producer for Aparna Sen’s ’15 Park Avenue’ and has been associated with many national and international film projects.
