Director’s Biography: G K Gokhale
Educated in Fine Art, G K Gokhale made his first experimental cartoon film in 1939 while also working as a political cartoonist for known journals of that time. He then joined the Cartoon Division of Films Division in 1956 and made and helped make several animated films. He served as a visiting professor at the National School for Design, Ahmedabad while also working with the National Film Board of Canada. His films have won many awards in India and abroad
