KIDS MELA

November 14, Timing : 2 pm to 5 pm
November 15 & 16, Timing : 9 am to 5 pm

Kids Mela has come to Delhi with the augment of 1st ever National Children's Film Festival taking place from 14th to 16th Nov 2014 at Siri Fort Auditorium.

A brief concept note for Kids Mela @ NCFF.

ACTIVITIES ELEMENT:

1. Pledge Wall:
A designed Flex board at entrance of main auditorium where all the dignitaries school teachers and few students from each school will put their hand stamps dipped in clay on the wall as a pledge to keep their body, home, surrounding and country clean. There will be a separate wall for dignitaries, which will be signed and hand stamped by them.

2. Waste Management:
Activity consist of filtering different type of waste, putting it into different dustbins will be conducted at the stall along with info on waste & its harmful effects.

3. Jigsaw Puzzle:
This activity consists of 4 different illustration of Event logo designed and with information on cleanliness. We will ask the children to solve the puzzle and make it into a complete picture.

4. Connecting with Basics : Pottery:
This stall will have two potterers consist doing pot making on their wheels, also showcasing different pots in the stall. We will have write up on recycle material and reasons to avoid plastic, in order to educate the kids.

5. Best out of Waste:
As an activity, we will use various unwanted waste materials and ask students to make some useful element out of it.

ENTERTAINERS:
As a part carnival we will have different entertainers to engage all the children, such as:

  • Tattoo Artist
  • Face Painting
  • Jugglers
  • Tall Walkers
  • Mascots
  • Mela games Etc.

Through all these carnival elements we will be emphasizing on core theme of the event which is Cleanliness and awareness of the same for the kids.
