Corporation takes pleasure in getting associated with the
16th International Children’s Film Festival.
Inspite of a number of hurdles in roping in a good number
of qualitative children’s films from various countries,
we have been making consistent efforts to identify such production
units and draw their attention to this festival.
The 16th International Children Film Festival generates lot
of joy and purposeful entertainment truly for children. The
week long events are chalked out in such a way, that every
participant will have a happy moment to cherish.
You might remember that the globally acclaimed Chinese film
‘Invisible Wings’ had stolen the hearts of every
child when screened in the last film festival here in 2007.
Some of our friends enthusiastically bought rights of dubbing
the film into Indian languages. It is already being screened
successfully in Telugu. The ‘Ningi Nela Naade’
(Telugu version of ‘Invisible Wings’) made tremendous
impact in terms of spirit and outlook towards life on children
of our State.
I hope this festival will also present more inspiring films
for the children, and the delegates from various countries
will make the event a great success.
